Welcome to the Technical Advisory Group (TAG) on Port Security, serving the Inter-American Committee on Ports (CIP, by its Spanish initials) at the Organization of American States. Our group provides port authorities in the Americas with guidance on all aspects of port security so that they have the information and means necessary to mitigate risks, improve security and increase efficiency at ports throughout the Western Hemisphere.

*** HAITI and CHILE DISASTER RELIEF: The OAS urges people to donate to its PanAmerican Development Foundation, which is responsible for disaster relief efforts. Donations will be used to purchase and transport supplies to help the people of Haiti and Chile in the aftermath of the massive earthquakes in those nations. Donate here.
