About Associate Members
Each of the TAG's member states appoint permanent representatives, typically from their respective national port or maritime administrations. However, the TAG's meetings, trainings and other events are also open to outside parties with an interest in the development of the port sector and maritime trade in the Western Hemisphere.
Associate Members are encouraged to attend and participate in the meetings of the TAG and the Inter-American Committee on Ports, for which the cost of registration is waived. At the TAG meetings, Associate Members will be able to network with decision makers and give presentations on their products and services. Associate Members may also sponsor meetings of the TAG.
Space is provided for Associate Members on Safeports.org to create a profile with information about their organization, products and services. They are also encouraged to make use of the site's forum section. Furthermore, Associate Members receive updates and regular communications from the TAG and the Inter-American Committee on Ports on port sector developments in the region.
Associate Membership with the TAG on Port Security is a great way to raise your organization's profile with port leaders and decision makers throughout the Americas.
